Rapper injured in recent crash

New York City residents know how devastating a car accident can be. Even when people suffer only minor injuries, they may be forced to endure months of pain. People who suffer serious injuries may require surgery and rehabilitation. Their injuries may even prevent them from working.

A car accident can not only leave people with physical scars, they may also be left with financial burdens. Medical bills can quickly add up. People whose recovery prevents them from working could be forced to deal with even more financial struggles.

However, people who are injured as a result of another person's negligence can pursue a personal injury lawsuit. The compensation they receive can be put towards their costly medical bills.

A recent car accident shows that even the rich and famous are not immune to car accidents. Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs was involved in an accident recently in Los Angeles. The 42-year-old's car hit another vehicle in front of the Beverly Hills Hotel. Luckily, it appears that no one suffered any life-threatening injuries. However, the occupants in both vehicles said they were experiencing pain. The rapper reportedly hurt his ribs, collarbone and neck.

Car accidents are often preventable. Drivers must remain attentive in order to prevent car accidents. Fortunately, no one suffered any major injuries in this crash. However, that often isn't the case.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a car accident occurs every 10 seconds in the United States. Sadly, those car accidents frequently cause serious injuries and even death.
